Providing agronomy, logistics and information to farmers in Kasaka, Zambia

With a focus of sharing our experience and information to help Zambian farmers increase yields, South West Ag Partners Inc. has partnered with Lambton College’s Enactus Program and completed two trips in 2013 to Kasaka, Zambia. Together, we provided agronomy, logistics and information to local growers.

Sessions are attended by enthusiastic farmers wanting to learn more about how they can increase their revenue through crop yield and provide more meals for their families.

In a past trip, our team helped local farmers plant 11.2 million seeds by hand, using no-till farming practices. Another trip is planned for 2014.

Enactus seeks to create solutions to economic, social and environmental issues through outreach projects and business ventures in order to bring about sustainable changes.
